What the service does

The service creates a visual preview of a house photo with new exterior colors. Previews are an approximation for planning only. Colors on screen will not match paint on your house exactly, and a render can contain mistakes. Always check a real paint sample before you buy paint or hire a contractor. We do not guarantee any particular result.

Your photos and renders

You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You give us a limited license to store and process them, and to create, store and show renders to you, only to provide the service. We do not use your photos or renders in our examples or marketing.

You may only upload photos you have the right to use: of a home you own, rent, or have permission to work on. Our Acceptable Use Policy applies.

Free renders

Free renders are a courtesy and may change. Free previews are watermarked. We may limit free use per person, device or network to prevent abuse.

Project Pass and payments

The Project Pass is a one-time purchase of 25 renders plus clean HD downloads of your renders, for $9.99 USD. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Renders do not expire while the service operates. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details.

A render that fails is not charged. If you are unhappy with a purchase, email hello@housecolorvisualizer.com and tell us what happened; we will work it out with you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Paint names and trademarks

Paint color names, codes and brand names belong to their owners and are used only to identify colors. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any paint company. Roof colors are generic.

Fair use of the service

Don't misuse the service: no automated scraping or bulk use, no attempts to get around limits or payments, and nothing that breaks the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that do.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including the cost of paint, materials or work chosen based on a preview, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
